1942 Universal Geneve Aero-Compax ref. 22477

This rare Universal Geneve Aero-Compax is a true stunner. Crisp case, glossy creamy dial, blue hands, generous size for the era (37mm), it can be the cornerstone of any vintage chronograph collection.

This model was originally designed for pilots, the top register being used to set the departure time of a flight. A grail for many, for good reason.

Condition

Dial is in exceptional condition, showing a niec glossy finish. Hands are also in great shape. Case is extremely crisp. Crows are correct for the model and probably original. The watch comes on a vintage unsigned beads-of-rice steel bracelet. Movement was serviced in 2017 and works perfectly.
