1940s Eterna chronograph triple date with Valjoux 72c

Eterna is famous within the watch community for having produced some strong dive watches, or great chronographs. The manufacturer surprises us here with a very rare triple calendar dress watch.

Rare and in amazing condition, this stunning Eterna features a signed Valjoux 72c movement, for a triple calendar complication. What we love here is the whole design of the dial, along with the serpentine hand, leaf hands, date windows, and the appealing blue calendar date. The overall condition of the watch is great, the case is unpolished, and the contrast between the blue scale and the gold hands is pleased to admire.

Its nice size and large dial opening give it a nice presence on the wrist. This is a chronograph, but still a very dressy watch, by nowadays standards.
