1940s Angelus Chronodato – Triple calendar

If you like watch complications, you simply can’t miss this gorgeous Chronodato, a model launched by Angelus in 1942. Featuring a wonderful triple calendar, it comes in a massive and thick 38mm case, very large for the era, and, that’s what we love, in stainless steel, where most models were gold plated.

This one is in great condition, showing a nice dial patina, subtly enhanced by the blue handset.

Condition

Overall condition is good. Dial is in beautiful condition, with some homogeneous patina all over. Case is in excellent shape and shows some usual aging marks. Pushers have lost some chrome plating, though being original. Glass is in perfect condition. The watch comes on a gray Nato band.
