1940s Baume & Mercier step case Valjoux 22 chronograph
Baume & Mercier has quite a long history in watchmaking and, while, it has not produced iconic watches like some of other Swiss manufactures, it has long been recognized as a solid maker, always with nice designs.
The present model is a rare and early chronograph, from the early 40s, in great condition, triple signed and built around the legendary column wheel Valjoux 22. It won’t remained unnoticed by collectors, thanks to its clean dial with sunken indexes and roman numerals, but also and especially because of its sharp steel step case.

The watch is in excellent condition. Dial and hands are very clean. Case is in top shape and unpolished. Crown is original. It comes on a leather strap and is covered by our 1 year mechanical guarantee.
