1940s Cyma oversized clamshell case chronograph

Made in the 1940’s, this fine, large, stainless steel wristwatch with round button chronograph, register and tachometer has a 38mm two-body clamshell case with stepped bezel. A clamshell case typically refers to cases that are held together with four screws in the back of the lugs. These have become extremely coveted by collectors and are on the rise, due to their rarity.
This chronograph also features a black gilt dial with Arabic and baton numerals and guilloché seconds and 30-minute subdials, outer 1/5th second track and tachometer graduation. A true stunner, for the serious collector.
