1940s Eberhard Milan oversized chronograph in steel

Eberhard Milan is a famous Italian retailer who, over the years, distributed some of the nicest timepieces from the finest Swiss manufactures, including Patek Philippe, Jaeger-Lecoultre or Audemars Piguet. Renowed for their excellent taste and high sense of aesthetics and quality, this company has distributed some of the finest timepieces over the 20th century.

Interestingly enough, they also commissionned a small numer of watches under their own brand, with always the same research for excellence and quality.

This chronograph made in the 40s the perfect example. Coming in a beautiful and bold 39mm stainless steel case, it houses a modified Valjoux 22, signed by the way, under a marvelous galvanic gild dial featuring rich grey and black areas, with snail tachymeter and outer telemeter scale. The condition is just incredible, making this piece a vintage lover’s dream.
