1950s Gallet Chronograph with Excelsior Park movement

Gallet is a historic Swiss manufacturer of high-end timepieces for professional, military, sports, racing, and aviation use. Gallet is the world’s oldest watch and clock-making house with history dating back to Humbertus Gallet, a clockmaker who became a citizen of Geneva in 1466. Gallet is best known from the 20th century to the present day for its line of MultiChron wristwatches. Produced primarily for military, industrial, auto racing, and other professional applications, Gallet’s MultiChron watches often incorporated a number of advanced timekeeping innovations

This pristine example of Gallet chronograph is well-balanced, on the dial, the multi-color of the telemetric and tachymetric scales brings a fresh aspect to the whole. Even the Arabic numerals indexes and syringe hands are in mint conditions. The case is well-finished and sharp as we like, also composed by a screwed case back covering a caliber Excelsior Park EP4.

The whole comes in a waterproof 38mm steel case, a perfect size for both vintage and modern aficionados.
