1950s Gallet Flying Officer 2nd generation with Incabloc
Originally ordered by Harry S. Truman in 1939 for pilots and navigators of the USAAF (United States Army Air Forces), the Gallet Flying Officer is a mythical line of pilot chronographs that have been opened to the civilian market after WWII.
This model is part of the 2nd generation of FO, has been produced in very low quantities. Recognizable thanks to its unique hand shape and to the red Incablog writing on the dial, it is one of the most sought after of the family.
This particular model was the property of a violonist who was playing on transatlantic cruises. It has travelled a lot and still keeps a crisp unpolished case and great dial, with the right amount of patina.
