1950s IWC De Luxe “Flying Lugs”
Originally established in 1868, IWC is a Swiss company founded by an American who is now recognized as one of the great names in the industry.
This rare IWC De Luxe with “flying lugs” is one of those watches that impress at first sight. A certain elegance emanates from the dial, certainly due to the incredibly finished dauphine hands and the dagger indexes. The case also in solid 18 carat gold has a soft stepped bezel, which adds even more character to the watch.
This De Luxe is powered by a Pellaton automatic movement, caliber 8531, developed by Albert Pellaton and considered one of the best automatic movements ever made.
Produced in very limited quantities, it is a piece of choice for a collector in search of elegant and atypical piece.
