1950s Jardur Bezelmeter

A very rare bird. This Jardur bezelmeter is one of the latter series, recognizable thanks to its thinner case (still 38mm though). Its crazy glossy dial is in exceptional condition and is designed like no other. The red scales and the steel rotating bezel make it truly unique in the watch landscape.

Assembled by Huga or Pilgrim, here Huga, these watches come with different handsets and dial configurations. This one features especially a baton sweeping second hand. Noticeably, and as met in many other Bezelmeters of the same era, the brand has been scratched on the bridge and on the caseback. Back in the years, Huga had made an habit to reuse components of other makers and, then, to anonymize these parts.
