1950s Lemania Calendar Triple date

In an age where any mobile phone can tell you the time with the accuracy of an atomic clock, nobody really needs a watch, do they? Or is that why you really need a vintage watch, with its patina, its flaws and its “good” accuracy (compared to an atomic clock of course)? What’s more, what could be better than discovering the time, day and month on a beautiful patina dial?

Founded in 1884 by the self-taught watchmaker Alfred Lugrin, the factory has long been known for the production of movements and, from 1900 onwards, of very good quality watches.

This 1950’s Lemania Calendar is beautifully preserved, with an unpolished stainless steel case, gorgeous glaive hands and a beautiful cream patina dial. The date indicators add uniqueness to this piece, as does the blue day scale around the dial. Inside the 35mm case, the watch is powered by the Lemania 3300 manufacture movement.

A real must in the gentleman’s collection.
