1993 Omega Speedmaster Automatic reverse panda – PAPERS

Omega has produced iconic models over the years and is regarded as one of the greatest watch brands nowadays. Among their most successful production stands the Speedmaster, particularly famous for being the first watch to reach the moon. Launched in 1957, it was derived in a great number of variations, with a continuous success.

In order to modernize the model and offer a smaller design for those a little intimidated by the 42mm of the Moonwatch, Omega launched in 1988 the Speedmaster reduced line, coming in a 39mm steel case and hosting an automatic movement with date. Several versions were issued and we are proud to say that this one is one of the coolest.

Made especially for the Japanese market, it comes with a super nice reverse panda dial with creamy tritium indexes. The caliver 1155, basedon the Valjoux 7750, is extremely precise and reliable, and features a date complication.

This model comes will all paperwork and service papers coming from a maintenance job done in 2021 in South Korea. It was purchased from a Korean collector visiting Paris.
