1950s oversized Eterna Valjoux 22 chronograph

This is a nice chronograph from the 50s. More famous for the Kontiki line, Eterna has produced some very nice chronographs in that era, with a high level of finishing. Coming with very nice movements, such as Valjoux 22 or Valjoux 72, these chronographs offer great designs, solid construction and impeccable finish.

The present example shows a lovely dial patina and a superb design, especially with the oversized case of 38mm and the two large sub-registers. The blued hands give the little plus that makes this bold chronograph a true vintage icon.
