1950s Varix chronograph with Excelsior Park movement

The vintage watch field is full of surprise and daring to crawl outside of the usual Rolex-Omega-etc is often a rewarding experience. The piece we are proud to show here is a 36mm Varix from the 60s, in stunning condition. This is one of the numerous today-forgotten brands with minimal production, great designs and usually top movement.

Built around an Excelsior Park movement with stunning finish and uber-cool hand written engravings, this watch is, in our opinion, a top one. This is exactly what we look for in vintage watches, getting the thrill of finding an unique gem.

Overall the watch is in excellent condition. The dial has developped a light and lovely patina. The blue hands are perfect. The case is unpolished and close to NOS condition.
