1952 Omega ref. 3950 “Cioccolatone” in pink gold

Omega has a special place in the watch industry, having produced some of the most iconic timepieces over the years, in various domains (sport, space, etc). It is no surprise that we have always offered many of their models at Sabiwatches, as they are not only beautiful watches, but also superbly designed, robust and come with great stories.

This one is a little different though. Among the many dress watches that Omega has designed, few come in a square format. The kind of rounded square actually, that our Italian friends name “cioccolatone” for its chocolate pane shape. Coming in this heavy pink gold case, in mint condition and unpolished, it is the kind of statement that makes its wearer stand out.

It also features a beautiful white waffle dial with golden indexes and hands. Sitting beautifully on the wrist, it is an absolute joy to wear and pair with a crisp white shirt.

According to the joined extract form the archives, it was produced in 1952 and sold in the Dominican Republic.
