1954 Rolex Turn-O-Graph ref. 6309 “pre-Thunderbird” in pink gold

This very Rolex Turn-O-Graph is a rare gem. Produced immediately after the first TOG ref. 6202, it is the first model to feature this design, including a rotating bezel of the same material as the case, offering a much dressier look than the previous version, itself often considered as the ancestor of the submariner.

Produced in limited quantities until 1959, this reference immediately preceeds the 6609, officially nicknamed “Thunderbird”. It features the same design elements, with some variants, like a roulette date and arrow indexes.

This version is in stunning condition, with a thick and barely polished 18 karat pink gold case and a deliciously patinated “red Datejust” dial. It also comes with its 18kt gold genuine Rolex buckle.
