Over the years, Rolex has proven its mastery when it comes to sport chronographs. The Cosmograph Daytona always comes to mind, but the dressier so-called pre-daytona are rarer and not of lesser quality. The 6234 especially is itself at the pinnacle of the dressy chronographs and is highly coveted by the finest vintage enthusiasts.
This particular example, in beautiful condition, features the rare small sub-registers dial with applied bullet indexes. Its dual-tone dial shows warm and homogeneous patina, while retaining all markings perfectly crisp and clear. It comes on a rare 6635 Oyster riveted extensible bracelet with 57 endlinks and rare “big logo” clasp, dated 4/58.

The watch is in great condition. The case is still thick and shows very few aging marks. Dial and hands in excellent original condition, all lume plot being still present on the dial. The riveted bracelet has almost no stretch and counts 12 links.
