1960s Universal Geneve Polerouter ref. 869113
Universal Geneve Polerouters are great watches, both in design and in construction. The legendary microrotor system (starting with the caliber 69) has been adopted throughout the industry by some of the most prestigious brands (hello Patek Philippe) and has become a standard. Made famous by the design of Gerald Genta, the Polerouter came in various shapes and finition level.
This one, Produced in the 2nd half of the sixties, comes in a superbly designed case in top condition and features a stunning creamy dial, beautifully paired with a set of dauphine hands. Thanks to the microrotor caliber, this watch remains slim and shows much elegance on the wrist, especially when attached to a soft ostritch strap.
Definitively a must, not to be missed.
