Jaeger-Lecoultre Memovox ref.E855 from 1962

The history of Jaeger-Lecoultre dates back to 1833, in the heart of the Vallée de Joux. During this period, the company has been at the origin of numerous timepieces and great horological achievements, such as the Reverso, the Memovox and the Geomatic. Launched in 1950, it is one of the flagship Jaeger-LeCoultre models, which has been produced and reissued ever since. Its concept is a classic alarm watch and dressed, useful for all trades, it is in 1956 that will come out the automatic version that became the first automatic watch with alarm.

Made in solid 18kt yellow gold, the watch keeps all the essence of the first Memovox execution in a nice 37mm case. To help the readability of the whole, Jaeger-LeCoultre has chosen to combine yellow gold and dark Onix baton hands and indexes on an immaculate white dial.

Mechanically, the watch is powered by the K825 automatic bumper caliber.

This watch is its beautiful condition and comes with its original case, a Jaeger-LeCoultre alligator strap, and a signed buckle.
