1964 Tudor Submariner 7928 chapter ring with paper
Exceptionally rare by its condition, provenance and cool factor, this is a stunning Tudor Submariner reference 7928 with chapter ring dial. Produced and sold in 1964, according to the original purchase invoice accompanying the watch, it features an incredible naturally faded brown “long 5” insert in perfect condition.
This watch has been with its original owner in Mexico until last year, when a good friend of ours purchased it. Having spent a long time in a safe, it is in top shape, with an unpolished case, beautifully aged dial and this superb insert.

The watch is overall in excellent condition. Dial shows a nice and even patina. Case is in excellent condition also, likely unpolished. Movement is running perfectly. Watch comes with its original purchase receipt from a mexican jeweller.
