1966 Lip Nautic manual winding

Lip, a renowned French watchmaking company, was founded in 1867 by Emmanuel Lipmann in Besançon, France. Over the years, Lip has played a significant role in the horological landscape, creating timepieces that blend craftsmanship, innovation, and distinctive design.

In the mid-20th century, Lip collaborated with renowned modernist designers like Roger Tallon and collaborated on the creation of iconic timepieces such as the Lip Mach 2000. These watches were not only functional but also celebrated as design masterpieces, capturing the spirit of their time.

This piece is very rare, having been produced only in 1966. It is the precursor of the Nautic Automatic, also rare, and of the Nautic-Ski, a watch that brought a lot of success and fame to Lip during decades. Condition is immaculate, making it a true collector piece.
