1970’s Piaget Tradition in 18k yellow gold with night blue dial

Piaget is a famous Swiss watch and jewelry brand founded in 1874 by Georges-Edouard Piaget. Initially specialising in the manufacture of watch movements, the brand later diversified into the creation of luxury watches and fine jewellery. Piaget is known for its elegant designs, craftsmanship and ultra-thin movements.

This ladies’ watch of 23mm x 23mm is part of the Tradition collection made in 1970’s. This line was created in response to the evolving tastes and expectations of ladies regarding watches and jewelry during that era.

This line featured delicate cases and elegant bracelets made of gold or steel, adorned with diamonds or other precious gemstones. The dials were often minimalist, emphasizing time indication with slim hands and discreet indexes.

The one we have here isn’t an exception with its yellow gold case and hands that sublimes a clear night blue dial in amazing condition. The whole is reminded by the crown at 3 o’clock made of gold and a cabochon sapphire.

As an all-time classic, this watch is pretty easy to wear from a dressy night to casual.

The watch comes with its original bracelet and buckle.
