1970s Zenith A386 El Primero mk. 2 with original box

This Zenith El Primero is a legend. Produced in the early 70s, it is rare to find in good condition and even more with its original “ladder” Gay Freres bracelet and star crown. Coming in its original box, it is a collector piece for the serious watch lover.

This very model is a second execution. It features the mk 1 dial (A below H) and the logo-free brushed caseback with a correct range serial (serial checked with Zenith manufacture). Its distinctive design, added to this solid steel bracelet, make it a bold and masculine watch, yet easy to pair with any outfit.

A true stunner in our opinion, not to be missed.

Condition

The watch is in superb condition for its age. The dial has a nice patina, the hands show also some patina to the tritium. Case is in very nice condition with strong lines and no notable mark. The original and rare bracelet is in good condition, with good length and few stretch. The watch has been fully serviced. The minute counter hand was replaced by a too recent one when we bought it. It has been replaced with a period correct one since then.
