1972 Rolex Air-King ref. 5500 with blue dial

A nice Rolex Air-King is one of the best choices in the entry level of Rolex and a great addition to any collection. With a nice (vintage) size of 34mm, a cool dial and the automatic 1520 movement, this is a very cool and understated watch, for any occasion.

Launched in 1957, the Air-King line is one of the oldest of Rolex, produced during 37 years. Its cult design, extremely clean and efficient, allowed Rolex to keep it almost unchanged during that period. A true timeless classic.

Condition

Overall condition is excellent. Dial is in perfect condition and shows a nice tritium patina. Case is thick and in excellent condition. Bracelet is also excellent with few stretch. Movement has been serviced and runs great.
