1974 Vacheron Constantin ref. 35202 Prestige de la France
21 500€
As the oldest watch brand in the world, in continuous operation since its foundation in 1755, Vacheron Constantin was the first watch company to manufacture movements with interchangeable parts as early as 1839. Vacheron watches are admired for their Latin-influenced cases, well-balanced proportions and exquisitely finished movements of the highest quality.
The Geneva manufacture is known for its highly complicated masterpieces, including the Grande Complication du Roi Farouk, the Tour de l’Ile, and masterpieces such as the traditional line, the 222 or the Overseas.
The Vacheron Constantin Prestige de la France is a limited edition collection introduced in 1974 by the prestigious Swiss watchmaker Vacheron Constantin. The collection was created to commemorate the brand’s long history of craftsmanship and its deep ties with French heritage and art. The collection was inspired by French cultural and artistic history, symbolizing the close relationship between Vacheron Constantin and French aristocracy and high society, especially during the 18th and 19th centuries.
This very model is one of the few coming on the original integrated yellow gold band and features the rarest dial configuration (dark grey). It is a stunning piece with much charm and incredible presence on the wrist.
