1990s Omega Speedmaster Professional 145.0022
Buying a nice vintage Omega Speedmaster on a budget has become difficult. Pre-moon examples are often out of reach for most, and late 60s and 70s ones are following the trend.
So what to do now ? Enjoy your dream watch while being broke ? Or maybe go for later examples… The 90s speedies have it all after all… if you go for a 145.0022, with tritium dial and plexy, often nicely patinated, and usually a better shape (unpolished case) and more chances to retain all the original pieces (especially crown and pushers). And you know what ? You’re just looking at one.
