This exquisite Cartier Tonneau XL watch from the CPCP collection is a superb tribute to its predecessor from a century ago. Its elongated, sleek and curved rose gold case gracefully hugs the natural shape of the wrist.
This timepiece is incredibly rare, having been produced in only 150 pieces. It harmoniously blends the essence of heritage with modern dimensions, with an XL size of 43.4 mm x 29.4 mm (51.4 mm from lug to lug). The watch’s design echoes Cartier’s rich watchmaking history through the use of black Roman numerals, blued Breguet-style hands and a silvered white “Rose Motif” guilloché dial adorned with the inscription “Paris”.
Other exquisite details include a Cartier cabochon crown, elegantly shaped screws adorning the lugs at both ends of the watch, a yellow gold folding clasp and. These elements combine to create a timepiece of irresistible purity and timeless aesthetics.
