Patek Philippe World Time ref. 5110P – Full set
Founded in 1839, Patek Philippe is one of the oldest watch manufacturers in the world, with an unbroken watchmaking history. In its nearly two centuries of existence, Patek Philippe has weathered everything from world wars to the quartz crisis of the 1980s. Today, it is still widely recognized as one of the most successful and prestigious watchmaking houses, and its creations adorn the wrists of everyone from bankers and politicians to actors and celebrities.
Patek Philippe has been a master at making the most elegant and complicated timepieces ever created. This magnificent 5110P released in 2000 is an example of the pure combination of the first wristwatches with universal time introduced in the 1930s and the new complication techniques.
The 5110P, produced until 2006, was the first wristwatch with world time complications offered by Patek Philippe since 1965. Intelligently designed, the time display of the 24 cities is done by a simple push button at 10 o’clock.
The aesthetic work of the watch is impressive, whether it is in the making of the white dial, the 24 hours indicator ring, the blue guilloche dial or the fine Alpha hands.
The 37mm platinum case houses the automatic caliber 240/188 and its gold micro-rotor, renowned for its reliability and precision, which can be seen through the sapphire back.
The watch is accompanied by all its original documents, box and outer-box.
