1960s Longines Skin Diver ref. 8248 bakelite bezel

Founded in 1832, Longines has always played a great role in the watchmaking industry for its watches and movements which, even today, are considered as some of the most reliable and precise.

In the second half of the 1950s, Longines was one of the first companies to launch diving watches. They bought Record and their knowledge at the end of the 50s and, soon after, this nice and uncommon diver came to life.

This particular reference was dedicated to the Italian market and differs from its cousin ref.7921 by its Bakelite bezel and its caliber 505. A real rare and atypical diver, beautiful in appearance and a guarantee of presence on the wrist, thanks to its red minutes insert. On the dial, the particular hands and indexes nicely highlight the legibility of the diver.

The watch comes in extremely nice condition with a sharp and clean case, perfect dial and very nice bezel.
