1940s H.Moser & Cie. Pilot Watch

Founded in 1828 by Heinrich Moser in St. Petersburg, H. Moser & Cie. is a Swiss watchmaker known for its innovative approach and refined craftsmanship. After establishing itself as a respected supplier of high-quality timepieces to Russian aristocracy, the brand later relocated to Schaffhausen, Switzerland. Though it experienced a period of dormancy in the 20th century, H. Moser & Cie. was revived in the early 2000s and quickly gained recognition for its in-house movements, minimalist aesthetics, and bold design choices. Known for complications like the perpetual calendar and fumé dials, Moser has built a strong following among collectors who appreciate independent watchmaking with a modern twist and a nod to tradition.

This H. Moser pilot’s model is exceptionally rare. Its rotating bezel allows you to track elapsed time or scheduled intervals by positioning it freely. The crown’s plating, though worn, remains in its original state. Both the bezel and case are in good condition with sharp edges. The blued steel hands have retained their beautiful blue hue. The radium dial shows a very nice patina. THis is a rare and collectible timepiece.
