Wittnauer 235T chronograph with Valjoux 72

Wittnauer is getting more and more attention from collectors and it is easy to understand why. During several decades, they have produced high grades dress watches and chronographs, the reference 242T even making it to the final 3 in the NASA test run for the to-be Moonwatch, along with the Rolex Daytona and, of course, the Omega Speedmaster.

Like the Daytona, this elegant 235T features the iconic Valjoux 72 movement, under a creamy dial with blue hands, a nice case with beveled lugs and round pushers. A clean and elegant chronograph for every occasion.

Condition

Overall condition is excellent. Dial is in superb condition, with a nice creamy patina. Blue hands are perfect. Case has never been polished and shows few aging marks. Crown is original. Movement was serviced in 2015 and runs perfectly.
