Wittnauer Super Compressor ref. 8007

Wittnauer is getting more and more attention from collectors and it is easy to understand why. During several decades, they have produced high grades dive watches and chronographs, the reference 242T even making it to the final 3 in the NASA test run for the to-be Moonwatch, along with the Rolex Daytona and, of course, the Omega Speedmaster.

Among dive watches, Wittnauer is famous for the reference 8007, a superbly designed super compressor watch, sharing the same DNA as the Longines Diver 7150 or the IWC Aquatimer.

Condition

Overall condition is excellent. Dial is in superb condition, with a nice tritium patina, matching with the hands. Case has never been polished and shows few aging marks. Bottom crown is probably replaced, as not signed. Movement was serviced in 2018 and runs perfectly.
