1943 Longines Tre Tacche 35mm with two-tone sector dial

Founded in 1832, Longines has always played a great role in the watchmaking industry for its watches and movements which, even today, are considered as some of the most reliable and precise.

This very rare Longines bears the reference 3864 and is known in the collector’s world by the italian nickname “Tre Tacche”, for the three distinctive notches on its caseback. Produced in 1943 and sent to Italy, according to Longines heritage department, it was purchased by a British soldier during WW2 and brought back home after the war.

Coming straight from the family of the original owner, it features a strong 35mm stepcase in superb condition and a crazily beautiful radium sector dial.
