1949 Longines Calatrava Oversize ref. 4915

This beautiful Longines oversized  “Calatrava” from 1949 bears the reference 4915. This rare and particular reference comes a large 37,5mm steel case with angled lugs and a large dial, giving it strong presence on the wrist. This very model features a rare dial, with copper roman numerals and hands.

According to its extract from the archives, this piece was sold on June 16th 1949 in Italy by the Longines retailer Ostersetzer.

Mechanically speaking, it is powered by the calibre 12.68Z a reliable, precise and robust movement.
