1950s Buren WWW "Dirty Dozen"
| | | mm
The "WWW" (Watch, Wrist, Waterproof) pieces were commissioned by the British Ministry of Supply during WWII, creating a legendary group of military watches known to collectors as the "Dirty Dozen." Buren was one of the rarer manufacturers among the twelve. This 1950s example retains its strict military layout: a high-contrast matte black dial, oversized tritium markers, a small seconds track, and the Broad Arrow property mark—a true battle-hardened military artifact.
