Cartier Tank Louis Cartier Trinity "Mosaic" in yellow gold

2023 | Yellow gold | Manual | 25.0mm

Sale price€14.500,00

The Tank Louis Cartier is the purest expression of the Tank lineage — the form distilled to its essence, unchanged in its proportions since Louis Cartier conceived it in 1917. Reference WGTA0175 takes this icon and does something unexpected: it replaces the traditional dial with a mosaic of miniature gold squares in yellow, white, and rose — the three golds of the Trinity, Cartier's emblematic jewellery collection since 1924. The result is a dial that behaves like a living surface, shifting between warm and cool, bright and subdued, with every movement of the wrist.

The technique is as demanding as it looks. Each tiny element is individually set, the whole composition achieving the kind of chromatic depth that a printed or guilloché surface cannot approach. It is, without question, a piece of Cartier's jewellery savoir-faire applied to watchmaking.

Produced in 2023 in low quantity, this rare timepiece has seen very little wear and remains in near-pristine condition. It comes with its original warranty card, purchase invoice, bracelet and buckle — a watch and a set that are increasingly rare to find.

For the collector who wants a Tank that is also a jewel.
