Vacheron Constantin "Knife" Pocket watch in white gold
1960 | White gold | Manual | 41.0mm
Founded in Geneva in 1755, Vacheron Constantin has spent more than two centuries perfecting the art of the thin, elegant watch. Collectors use the term “knife edge” for the ultra-thin dress pocket watches of the early 20th century, so slim their profile tapers almost to a blade. This one carries the idea into a more modern language.
The 40mm white gold case is built around that tapering profile: a wide brushed flange running out to a fine edge, a polished bezel framing the dial, and an integrated pendant that turns the whole piece into a small, almost architectural object. The silvered sunburst dial is pure Vacheron restraint, with slim baton markers, two fine hands and the “Vacheron & Constantin Genève” signature. The watch is in good condition.
Something to carry in a jacket pocket or wear on a chain, for those who like their elegance a little unexpected.
